Disc-type scaffolding is a new type of scaffolding, which was introduced from Europe in the 1980s and is an upgraded product after the cup-type scaffolding. It is also called chrysanthemum disc scaffolding system, plug-in disc scaffolding system, wheel disc scaffolding system, buckle disc scaffolding, layher frame (layer frame, Leia frame, because the basic principle of the scaffolding was invented by the German LAYHER (Lea) company, it is also called "Lea frame" by industry insiders. It is mainly used for lighting frames and background frames for large concerts. The disc-type multifunctional scaffolding is an upgraded product after the bowl-type buckle scaffolding.
The socket of this scaffolding is a disc with a diameter of 133mm and a thickness of 10mm. There are 8 holes on the disc. It uses φ48*3.5mm, Q345B steel pipe as the main component. The vertical pole is welded on a certain length of steel pipe every 0.60m. This novel and beautiful disc is used to connect the crossbar, and the bottom has a connecting sleeve. The crossbar is made of plugs with pins welded on both ends of the steel pipe.
